Puzzled by my PB: randomly going to sleep

I have the last Rev. of the 17" PB before intel came out. Lately, it has been radomly going to sleep, sometimes when im in the middle of something. I remember last year around this time it had the same problem, I remember alot of PB users having the same complaint. What can i do to make this stop?

Maybe a little patience late at night is in order.

As for your initial question: does this happen while running on the battery or while plugged in to the wall? If it was as widespread as you recall, perhaps you can do a forum search to see what the conclusions were then.

Maybe you're running out of battery? If not, then maybe the computer is overheating and shutting itself off?
