What am I doing wrong?

Ok guys, I need some pointers. I have a website buymeaniphone.com (http://www.buymeaniphone.com) where I have a youtube video of me begging for donations to buy an iPhone. I get about 20+ hits a day, but I've only received 3 donations. Besides the fact that i know its lame and stupid to be begging for money online, I can't figure out why no one wants to donate. I know a guy who put up a site to get $5000 to buy a G5 and he made the money in 8 months so what can I do to convice people to donate.

Why would anyone in their right mind donate money for you to buy something you don't need? There are a million better ways for people to spend their money, including donating to real charities that help those that are actually in need of something, not some broke ass YouTube guy who's too cheap to get a job and save for what he wants and expects other people (strangers at that) to pay for it.
