MacRumors Karaoke?

What do you all think if we had a MacRumors karaoke? Not in a contest kind of way, but just to make complete asses out of ourselves, drunk or not. We could use Garageband to record our singing skills and have either the music in the background or layered under.

The only thing that concerns me, other than complete shame, is the possibility that we may be breaking copyright laws. If we can't have the music in the background, maybe just vocals? I don't know, any ideas or any support at all?

Sounds like a great idea. There are alot of musicians here, so it should be good.
Obviously, I'm not going to start. I've recorded myself singing and it's bad, real bad.
Don't think we need to worry about copyright laws. If we were to sell the recordings, then we would have to worry.

Speaking of Karaoke wouldnt it be awesome if iTunes had a free Karaoke section that you could stream to ?TV
