Looking at the Canon 17-40 there, for around $550. Anyone have any experience with cameras.com?

Er, cameras.com isn't a store. It's just a bunch of Google ads/links to other places.

Edit: Okay, Best Price Cameras is one of the most prevalent scam sites out there. Always check online retailers at Reseller Ratings (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Best_Price_Cameras_6)...as you can see, Best Price (and its other incarnations) has an amazingly awful lifetime rating of 0.15 out of 10.

Just ordered a D40. Spoke w/someone during order and gentle was very pleasant. Received my tracking number right away. Just had to pay shipping $17. + $539. Place is in Virginia.
