When I go through everything and click upload video I get the "Safari can't open this page." Do I need to download a plug in or something?

I've never tried to upload anything to youtube, but I don't think there should be any plugins required. You're not trying to view the video, just send them a file. Does this happen every time, or intermittently?

Every time that I have tried it hasn't worked.

Do you have Firefox installed? You could try uploading with that.

Also, if you try reloading the page where you get stuck, what happens?

According to macosxhints, this is often due to Safari's cache being disabled. Have you done this?

I never disabled anything knowingly but how can I check if it is?

1. does firefox work for you?
2. youtube only accepts certain format of videos, such as DivX or Xvid.

Ok, checked cache and it lookes like I only have apple.com cache. What does that mean?

I'll try firefox.

Yes, use firefox.

Safari has issues with many online video sites like youtube and vsocial.com

Youtube finally worked in Safari! Turned out what I needed to do was drag the clip I wanted to use out of my main imovie file and upload that only. I am very new at this and was trying to upload the entire imovie file.

Sorry for being so dumb! Thank you everyone!
