GTA vice city wont recongnize mouse buttons at all

My problem is that the mouse buttons do not work and it also seems that i cant look around with the mouse itself. The mouse kind of works during the menus and works perfectly in the menus. I am running Windows XP Pro on a Mac Pro via Boot Camp

i am using a logitech S530 cordless desktop laser-i also tried a usb keyboard and mouse from logitech but that didnt work either

Any ideas why this is happening?
