Apple Store West County in STL. About a 20 minute drive on a good day. Factor in that MODOT finds the need to do construction year round and that St. Louis drivers suck and it can be closer to 30 minutes.

Oh Bellevue, how I miss you so....
I just moved to Louisiana in September. Lafayette to be exact. I would've thought Baton Rouge or New Orleans would have an Apple store. I have yet to find one though. So as of now, I am hoping Houston has one, and that's 3 hours away. If not, my mother in law lives in Austin and we go to that one when we're visiting, which is about 6 hours from here. :tear:

I'm (very) roughly 150 miles from the Indianapolis store. I'm sure the Chicago store is about the same distance, more or less a bit, but I don't often have a reason to go to Chicago. But I have family near Indianapolis, so if I want to go to the Apple Store, I just fit it in while visiting them. Makes life so much more convenient.

I'm closest to the Cambridge Side Galleria, but once the flagship store is built I don't think anyone is going bother with going to the mall when there's a much bigger and better store just a stones throw across the Charles.

I feel kinda insulted by the redneck comment, but also it's completely understandable. I'm selling some G3 iMacs and decided to post the sale in the classifieds. I'm sellin for them 50 bucks or so each. The first day i get a few calls from people sayin, "Ya got dem 50 doller compuuters? i need to have windoze ex pee on it so i can check my email." Grrrrrrr. Especially their offerings for women's apparel. Swear, used to be sized for giants w/ no taste. But now? Some cuter, slimmer cut items. But I'm still not a big enough Apple geek to shell out $50+ for a hoodie w/ an Apple logo on it. If I even worked at retail Apple yeah I'd get it. But I have no connection to Apple at all. 35 miles to both the Santa Clara Valley Fair Mall (http://www.apple.com/retail/valleyfair/) and The Apple World Headquarters in Cupertino Company Store (http://www.apple.com/companystore/). But for events I always drive 50 miles to the Palo Alto University Avenue store (http://www.apple.com/retail/paloalto) where Steve sometimes shows up as well as Phil Schiller and other top Apple employees. :)

Aren't there 3 in San Diego? You forgot the one in Chula Vista (though I can see why you wouldn't want to go there). I'm still quite fond of the UTC store, it was literally across the street from my old house when I was still going to school at UCSD.
while i'm fond of the utc store, i'm not very fond of utc. it's gotten better over the years, but where did the mrs. fields go?

have you been to all 3? i've only been to 2 of them so far

There are two that are fairly equidistant from each other. Two are in Orlando and one is in Tampa both about 1.25 hrs away. :o

I vaguely remember it...though it has been quite some time. You are right though UTC is not the best of malls especially with all the brat La Jolla High kids walking around. Smug little jerks. lol.

id say that either san jose or thousand oaks stores are the closest real apple stores. The best two i have close to me is CompUSA or this awesome apple store look-a-like called MacDaddy .link -->MacDaddy (http://macdaddy.net/Main.html) the fresno store is the closest to me. But ive been to the Fashion Island store many times along with the Spectrum Center, Fashion Show in vegas, and South Coast Plaza.. My favorite is the Spectrum center..
HOLY Crap!! i just was bored looking at the statewide jobs at apple stores and they are opening an apple store in FRESNO at Fashion Fair(sorry for the caps but im excited)

I'm about 15 minutes from the Apple store and the Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, AZ. That store is always so packed, even during the not-busy hours.

There's no way Sheffield is 8 minutes from Watford
Depends on my car:D
I'm a student in Sheffield, parents house is in Watford.
Nearest one to Watford is Brent Cross 25 minute drive down the M1 or you have Regent Street store which is like 40 minutes on the tube.

Ouch. I'm guessing you go to a 3rd party retailer. That blows, apple stores are amazing places to be.

University Ave, Palo Alto. It's a nice bike ride (~4 miles) from where I live.
