What would be the best solution for using a Mac remotely? I would like to be able to connect to my Mac at home, log in to it, and use it on my PC at work. I know about VNC, and I installed Vine Server (http://www.redstonesoftware.com/products/vine/server/vineosx/index.html), and it did work. But.... What I would like to be able to do is to use the Mac, and the wife could use the mac aat the same time under her own user-account. But I couldn't make it work.
What happened is that I could connect to the machine and use it. But I could not use it if my wife was logged in. Also, if I connected to the machine when my user was logged in, and then switched to the wife's account, the VNC-connection simply froze. So I could not use the machine under my account in the background, while the wife used the machine as well.
There are instructions for Multiple desktop sessions (http://www.redstonesoftware.com/products/vine/multidesktop.html), and I followed the instructions. But it didn't work.
Any advice on how to proceed and/or what else I should try?
