Don't know if this has been posted already. I can't seem to find it so here's a link to the article on the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6378541.stm). It's an interview with the guy that did MOAB.

What do you guys think?

I think the MOAB project succeeded in its primary mission: increasing security awareness in both the Mac user community and in Apple. That article seems to agree with my conclusions.

Good to read that there's now dialogue between Apple and the security analysts. That's half the battle in my opinion.

Yes, if it got Apple to rethink some things it was definitely worth it.

Yes, if it got Apple to rethink some things it was definitely worth it.With its newfound sensitivity about security issues, Apple might reduce the number of new Mac viruses from zero (0) to minus ten (-10).

No, but Apple can keep the number at zero (0), which would be hard with an increasing market share and their (and some overconfident Mac user's) current attitude ;)
