ower MAC G4, perfect condition with the following specs:
450 MHz, Single processor, 128 MB RAM, 30 GB Hard drive capacity, MAC OS 10 oppressing system, 17 inch flat-screen monitor, 56k modem, HD/DVD. Also includes the keyboard and mouse.
i like the oppressing system.
but i mean, aside from the oppressing system, do you think it's worth $350?

I think its a great deal since it comes with an LCD.. You will really need to upgrade the ram though. With at least 512MB it will be a great system for light to medium tasks.

It's a 17 inch flat screen monitor, not a LCD. I assume it's the Apple (http://www.dvwarehouse.com/images/Apple_CRT_Display.jpg) CRT (http://www.forevermac.com/mac%20systems/apple-adc-crt.gif) display (one of those two). It's still be a good deal if you want a computer for folding, a jukebox, server or a computer to do light tasks on

no, NOT a good deal. You can get 1.42 or 1.5 Ghz G4 minis for that much. that computer is quite old and rather low spec. You can find tons of deals better than that.

I don't know... there's an apple flat panel in the picture. My guess is that the craigslist guy didn't really know the difference.
If the monitor is in fact a flat panel then I think it's an ok deal... if not, I'd keep looking.
Here's the first G4 I found on my local craigslist: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/sys/277749404.html
It's a 450 SP also but it already has 1.25 GB of ram and a 60 gig hard drive for only $225. Seems like a better deal to me, even if it is a flat panel that's included with the other one.

Sorry, I was speaking out of experience. My dad's lab used to have a bunch of those 450 MHz towers, all with CRT monitors.
