question about itunes

sometimes it plays past the actual length of the song. like a 4'15" song could really play for like 4'18" or something.

does anyone know why? and is there anyway to stop it?

Highlight the song in your iTunes Play List, and then simultaneously push down the Apple Key and "I." A menu will pop up; then click "option." You can control the start time of the song and the end time there.

maybe you don't understand what i'm saying.


i have a song that is 4:47 in length. sometimes, but not always, it will play 4:51, then the clock will go back to 4:47, and then go to the next song.

Yes, but you also inquired about how to stop it from playing beyond the length of the song, and i'm suggesting that you should type 4:47 into the end time cell.

It's a VBR (Variable Bit Rate) song and that is characteristic of them, playing longer than the actual length of the song. Best just to download songs from reputable places... 😎

i guess i could try it....but i have a lot of songs....
