I am looking to upgrade to a MBP and would like to sell my ibook to help pay for the new laptop.
It is in good condition with surface scratches only and would ship in original box and packaging.
1.2 GHz 12" ibook
1.25 GB RAM
30 GB HDD
Also have a sleeve that it would be come with it.
How much do you think it is worth? I may have a buyer, but want to provide a fair price.
Thanks!

I'd say +- 550 seems good for that unit, as the going price on ebay seems equal. Depending on if you have the original box, any adapters or accessories, you could probably tack on an additional 100 bucks.

I sold the same one except with 512 ram on ebay for $600 shipped. So I pocketed about $525-550.

That's cool. I have all of the original everything that came with it.

powerbookguy.com has this computer with 512 for 480 with CD or 580 with combo, other retailers are similar, as is ebay. I'd say $600 is a good price, you might get $650 with the 1.25, especially with the box etc.
I thought about suggesting these models to friends who want a cheap intro to macintosh, but these puppies still fetch good prices (i suggest refurb MBs to most folks these days)

I just saw the same ibook go for $660 on ebay with the 1.25 GB ram. I guess it's a little bit of luck and a little bit of marketing.
