The car is a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora, and it is the factory installed tape/CD player. Is there any way, short of taking the whole thing apart, to get a tape adapted unstuck from the player? I tried tugging the cord upward while holding the eject button, and the cord ripped right out. Also, pushing the eject button causes a loud grinding sound for about a minute and the smart deck is still firmly lodged.
