can someone advice me toward a good tripod purchase? it doesn't have to be fancy, just something sturdy, preferrably light... i have about 150.
it'd be a plus if it can be of some form that i can take it with me all over the place. :)
thanks!
edit: i really would appreciate if you provide a model number

amvona.com on ebay. if you're patient, you can get a nice set of carbon fiber legs for under $70 shipped and use the rest towards any head you want.

i use bogen/manfrotto 3021BPRO legs and a bogen/manfrotto 3047 3-way head (i do not like the ball heads personally)
not the lightest thing out there, but very stable and durable as hell. got it all at B+H.

I have the Bogen Manfrotto 3021B legs with a pan-tilt head. A bit more than what you're looking to spend, relatively heavy, but in all honesty, it's the best investment I've made so far. Sturdy, solid, and flexible.

could you have taken the 3021B on a trip? say put in a midsized luggage?
