Hey everybody, I was hoping someone could provide some insight for me; I need to buy a cheap 3-Chip camera. I'm only in high-school, so I don't need anything really fancy, just ameteur stuff. Thanx!

If you are looking for 3 CCD's in a consumer camera, Panasonic is the way to go. A quick search brought up this (http://www.nextag.com/Panasonic-PVGS320-3CCD-DIGITAL-533020288/prices-html) but you may be able to find a better deal on an older model if you hunt around.

THANX! That's the exact camera I use in my film class! So I know it's good. :)
If anyone else has opinions on better cameras or whatever, I'm still open.

The older models (Panasonic's) are usually more expensive as Panasonic has been dumbing down the top of their mini-DV line every year. The PV-GS300, which the PV-GS320 replaces, is a much better camera for those who like manual controls.
