I just purchased a new Bad Cat Hot Cat 100R Head and have spent the last few days looking for a well built 2X12 guitar cabinet.
After much looking I came up with a few favorites.
The Vintone Convert-A-Back

Shown in cherry stained Mahogany and Oak
The next is the Tone Tools Fat Cat Custom 1X12 in Walnut,
and the Tone Tools 2X12 Legend in Radiata Pine with Paduak inlay diamonds

Surprisingly, these fine hand made cabinets are not running much more than better known production line cabinets from Bad Cat, Mesa and Bogner made from baltic birch plywoood.
There is one other very good manufacturer of high quality reproduction
cabinets.
