Canon Powershot S80 help needed

I don't know if anyone can help, but my search for help has been dry so far.

My canon powershot S80 has started acting a little strange. In shutter speed priority and aperture priority it takes 3 photos. One is 'normal' (although not the quality i have come to expect from the camera) then one is under exposed and one is over exposed.

Can anyone shed any light on possible causes of this?

It sounds like you have exposure bracketing turned on...

Yeh thanks, just spoke to the people at canon. I do have that turned on, but its not 'turned on' in the menu ... its not showing up. So they say there is problem with the something in the something. Sending it in for repair.
