I previously copied some video from this camera to an older PC of mine, so I know the DV-out feature works, and the cable as well.
BUT - my MacBook Intel Core Duo doesn't recognize that anything is attached to the firewire port at all. I've tried connecting it w/ a Digital8 video in the camera as well as Hi8. Doesn't seem to matter.
Am I going to have to buy a new freaking camera? I don't get it. It's the only thing my Mac hasn't worked with so far...
