what is the best software for opening RAR Archives ?

Hi, i'm currently using rarexpander,
but it's not convinience because i can't seem to instal it permanently
is there any better solution to open rar files ?

I use UnrarX. It seems to work well enough on the rare occasion that I need to deal with .rar files. 🙂

Why can't you install Rar Expander permanently? I installed it and it sits right where I put it (I also dragged the icon from my applications folder to my sidebar for easy access)

I've also used MacHacha which also works well. MacHacha can also take those files that look like file.001 file.002 etc and put them back together.

I second that UnRarX is what I use as well.🙂 😎 I use it quite a bit.

I find unrarx to work really well, it's so simple to use, I've never had any problems with it and would reccommend it too!
