Anyone get it? Does it cover the buttons? Does it cover the clip at all?

I don't know. I see no need for an IS on my 2G shuffle because nothing seems able to hurt it. And I say that as a big fan of the IS - I have one on my 1G nano and on my macbook!

I guess this really doesn't answer your question, but my $.02 is that the 2G shuffle really needs no protection.
