Soccer Compilations

Hey,
Just for fun I make soccer compilations eg. goals, skills with a few FX. I have been doing this casually on windows with Sony Vegas. Now that I have got an iMac I was wondering what the equivalent for Vegas is. Is it just iMovie?

I'm looking to do something similar to advertise a fan's forum on YouTube. How do you get your raw footage? Just EyeTV it off the telly? Or are their other repositories you can download from without breaking copyright?

I've got a Topfield PVR that does the trick nicely.

I mainly get get footage from TV and if I miss a game I usually download from forums such as www.soccerpulse.com although I believe this is illegal.

Well I don't think I can afford FC Studio atm so i guess i'll just stick with Vegas.
