Yeah, Burnout Legends is great. Burnout Dominator is going to come out for PSP soon as well.

and yes, street racing is done with real cars, but i don't want a street racing game.

basically like gran turismo, but since GT4 mobile isn't out yet, and who knows when or if it'll ever be out....

i know this isn't what you asked for, but i really like ridge racer on psp. it was my favorite launch title, and i prefer it to any other ridge racer on any platform. it's fun, fast, and deeply engaging. maybe you could give it a shot.

I thinkthe World Rally game is pretty cool, but it's all timing. But it's got everything: rights, lefts, hairpins, chicanes, elevation, blizards, rain, junctions, jumps.

I'm getting the F1 game for PS3; it should be arriving tomorrow. Apparently, you can use the PSP as a rearview mirror for the PS3 F1 game. Don't know how that works.

ridge racer is extreme arcade racing. it is basically a
whole lot of hairpin turns where you can practically
drive sideways drifting around charging up your
"nitrous" to boost into turns and charge your nitrous
faster...

on xbox 360 there is also this raver dude telling you
how awesome you are...

i personally love these games on 360, ps3 and PSP...
never played the older ones though...

insanly stupid fun!!! my fiance and i play all the time.

Toca sounds just like what you need. Find the demo and take it for a spin

so what exactly do you do in Burnout Legends?

In Burnout Legends, there are races, against 3 or five other cars, some vs one car.
The fun stuff
Crash mode: crash to make lots of damage
Road Rage: You vs. 3 cars, try to run them into stuff to get takedowns (basically make everyone else crash)
Pursuit: You have to catch and destroy (by making them crash or ramming them up to enough damage)
More as well, can't remember though. Also, Burnout Dominator comes out soon I believe.

If you were thinking about the Burnout game, get the old one, Legends, it has crash mode, which the new one, Dominator, does not have. The crash mode was the most fun IMHO, so I am displeased that they removed it.

I didn't know they took out Crash in Dominator. Glad I didn't pick it up, as that is my favorite part of the game, too.

Damn why did they take the crash out...thats what I liked about the game. Anybody still waiting on GTmobile?
