Not sure how new, but there are new PowerBook rebates available on Apple's educational on-line store. Now... let the speculating begin.

This probably means that Apple is trying to clear their inventory for a new model.

Darn--I'd just bought my PowerBook a few weeks ago.

They are also offering rebates on powermacs, ibooks, and the old imacs. The only model they are not offering a new rebate on is the new imac. The rebates vary from $50 to $100 on each model.
