Well this came out a coupla weeks ago and I thought I should share this with everyone else. There were people at Best Buy in line for this computer. 2000 bucks. Is Sony trying to compete with Apple's iMac design?

1.83 Ghz C2D
2 GB RAM

It's mot a horrible looking iMac copy like some, but I would still never buy one even if it ran OS X.

certainly not hideous. but why won't companies like sony realize things like this can't be given the crap names that they give 'em? it devalues the beauty of the product and creates horrible brand awareness. shame. i kinda like it, but still prefer my iMac. :D

Just noticed that it doesn't hav 802.11a, 1000base ethernet, and the speakers are only 3 watts! The iMac's speakers are 24 watts and hidden!

This isn't new. I bought one of these for my pop about six months ago.
In my opinion, its better looking then the iMac. No dumb looking "chin".

Meet the child of the older easel Apple Cinema display. It's a tad bit overpriced for what you get, but it is Sony we're talking about.
This isn't the first time they're tried to make an all-in-one computer either.

The back of it is a bit ugly and the stand/prop looks a bit flimsy.
But it does have a TV tuner and an ExpressCard slot, which is quite good.

I work at a Best Buy.
So far, I'm the ONLY one thats actually sold these things. Everyone else has attempted, but only I've succeeded.
Sold my second one today in less than a week. :D
May not sound impressive, but man, these suckers are a TOUGH sell.
Though the customer adored it because it was silver, and matched half her house. She was squealing and screaming about it.
The HP Touchsmart totally blows it away in coolness and specs. :D

Don't worry, the men in white coats are on the way... (   )
As for the design, that thing is sloooooooow in comparison the iMac, rubbishly specced, rubbishly priced and IMO, pretty poorly designed in comparison to the iMac, although that's very subjective...
