I am looking to reinstall OSX on another drive, but I'd rather not lose my data. Is there a way to backup everything so I have the same install on the other drive?

Carbon Copy Cloner (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/7032)
or
SuperDuper (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13803)

SuperDuper is great. I used it yesterday to clone my powerbook drive after upgrading to a larger drive.

I like the look of CopyCat X, but a problem I have with hat program is that it will not let you clone drives of the same size. Even when the drive is mostly empty.

Both of these programs work good.

Personal preference is CCC.

My vote is for superduper. I've used it numerous times recently while swapping out drives and restructuring my set up and it's been flawless. The SMART update is genius too - well worth buying a license for. :)
