Hello everyone,
Is there a app for mac that will show me large files/folders of my entire hard drive, so I can figure out whats taking up HDD?

Try WhatSize (http://www.id-design.com/software/whatsize/index.php), OmniDiskSweeper (http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnidisksweeper/), or Disk Inventory X (http://www.derlien.com/)...all do a good job of showing that info.

or just a smart folder with file size above a certain value. depends how you define large. average joe will find 400MB large, where as movie-edittor pro will find 4Gb average.

You don't need a special utility or app, just go into the finder, hit Command + F, and configure the various options to search your entire computer for any file with whatever size.
