So I have an OWC On-The-Go 2.5" SATA drive enclosure that I put my 80GB MacBook drive in when I upgraded the laptop's drive to 120GB.
I try not to use bus power too often, however, when I'm on the road a lot, it's just far more convenient. What has happened recently is that only one of the firewire ports is allowing the drive to mount. What is even more peculiar is that both ports will still power the drive via bus power.
Any thoughts on what might be wrong and any repair alternatives?
