I'm in egypt and just bought a benq cp -20 printer for my macbook pro with osx 10.4.8. The printer doesn't come with mac drivers, and i can't seem to find a driver that works! Any help? i desperately need to use this printer.
Thanks!
It appears that Benq does not support MacOS X--not yet anyway. Also, Benq is one of the few printer manufacturers which is not supported by The Linux Foundation's OpenPrinting project. It appears that you are SOL. In the future, you should check your prospective peripherals for MacOS X-compatibility before you purchase them.
Try using some of the Gimp-Print (Now Gutenberg) drivers for a Lexmark printer. Oddly enough, I heard somewhere that may work. If not, try Epson. Try that and post back on how it works!
