i have been trying to network my power mac g4 runing Os 9.1 with my winxp pro box and am having no succes can anyboyd give me any tips
is their any freeware or lowpriced shareware that can help me networking my mac box until i upgrde to OSX
 
Mac OS 9 isn't very Windows friendly at all. Thats one of the strong advantages of using Mac OS X. That being said, there are applications that make it easier (not easy, just easier). I think one is called DAVE from Thursby products (I'm pretty sure thats who makes it). Its probably not produced anymore so you might want to eBay it. Other than that, you're pretty much SOL. It will most likely be a pain in the butt still and unreliable at best. That was back when Macs and PCs were truly like mixing oil and water together. Today with OS X its not so true anymore...
