View Full Version : Repairing startup disc using OSX disc.

I recently tried to install bootcamp and I got a message saying the hard disc had a problem and to fix it using disc utility.
And apparently there is a problem with the startup disc.
I would like to know how to fix the startup disc while booting from the OSX DVD?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Start from the DVD. Choose you language but don't go any further with the installer. On the Menu there is a list of other apps. One of them is Disk Utility. Start it and repair the disk like normal...
