Hi guys,
Silly question for you. Every time I close InDesign, and reopen it, my preferences are not saved. It just started having this problem recently...
Any thoughts/suggestions as to why that would happen?

Document specific settings or program preferences?

Document specific settings or program preferences?
It seems like program preferences. For example, I'll set the preferences to work in inches, not picas or mm's. It will work fine when I haven't quit the program, but have started a few new files. BUT, when I quit the program, reopen it, start a new file, it has erased the settings...
Any thoughts?

Are you initially setting the preferences with no documents open? Or, are there documents open when you are setting the preferences?

I've done it both ways. I thought if I set the prefs with no document open, it would apply it system wide, but if I close the program, and come back, the prefs have changed... It's weird...

This (http://indesignsecrets.com/rebuilding-indesign-preferences.php) may help.

I think that article solved it. Thank you SO much. I would've never found that...
I have restarted the program a few times, and it has saved my preferences... Let's hope it sticks...
Thanks! :)
