How can I take this seriously with Pepsi up there and not Cocacola?

Worth noting that this is a poll of businesspeople. I have no idea how good of a company Coca Cola is. This isn't about the products/services they provide, per se.

No doubt. That list is Crazy. Southwest Airlines is #5? UPS actually made the list? American express?
whoever made this list is half out of their mind.

The fact that Coca Cola condones torture and murder of union members by its foreign bottlers may not help them be admired :(

I somewhat prefer the taste of Coke or RC over Pepsi, and am generally too lazy to boycott much--but I do boycott Coke products.

I'm off on a tangent here, but you're out of your mind drinking Coke or Pepsi or any soft drink of that nature. If the world wakes up to its bad diet habits these companies will go bust the next day.
And... what's this: Apple is ONLY #7! ;-)

I'm surprised Microsoft even made the list at all.

Why? It's a pretty amazing achievement to sell such a crocked OS to nearly the whole world.

Walmart made the list several years in a row? Their management is piss-poor, their business practices are questionable and they waste a lot of money by not being efficient. They could make a heck of a lot more if they actually fixed these problems. Tisk, tisk. People are crazy these days.

When you really think about it, it is an amazing achievement. ;)

This is basically a list of johnny come lately to kiss the comsumer's ass companies. GE with all of its Eco-Magination BS, I was there when GE coined the slogan, and the jist was to blow just enough sunshine up the ass of joe consumer that he thinks that GE is making the world a better place with its 4% more efficient Locomotives, and its clean coal power. Granted GE does do a great deal of technological innovation, but they are not the messiah they claim to be. As far as the other companies, some are newcomers, some are not, and while its appearance on this particular list is a first, the Apple of late is a staple of these sorts of lists. I guess that's why apple is the most oft emulated company on the planet.
