MBP Keyboard

For all of you MBP owners out there I have a question.
How is the keyboard on the MBP? I have only tried the MB and I really like it. I also like the keyboard on the Thinkpads as well. Is the MBP keyboard anything like the Thinkpad in terms of feel?
I am going to be going to an Apple store soon to see for myself but I wanted to hear everyones opinion.
This will just be another facet to my whole MB vs. MBP argument against myself.

It's the same keyboard as the Powerbook, and to me, it feels absolutely great.
It feels solid. Doesn't feel like a laptop keyboard at all.

But get an iSkin for that baby! When I type, it's loud. May also be because I have long fingernails. :p

I think the mbp keyboard is better than the mb, so if you like the mb you should like the mbp more.

I completely disagree, Mb feels way better than MBP. the MBP is like all other laptop keyboards just with a more solid feel but MB better.:cool:

Personally I don't like the feel of the Macbooks, nor did I like the iBooks. The MacBook Pro keyboard feels much more professional, and I hate the way the keys are spaced out on the MacBook compared to the MBP. Also, the backlight thing is really nice if you are working in low-light situations.

I really do like the fell of the MB keyboard, because of the response the keys give, if you know what I mean. Other laptop keyboards feel really cheap and the keys are really easy to push in. The MB keys are a little harder to push in which gives me feedback to whether I did in fact type the letter. I just hope the MBP keyboard gives the same kind of resistance.

The MacBook Pro has the same keyboard as the iBook G4 but has different casing.

the key board is GREAT

in fact i wish Apple released it as a seperate unit.. as much as i want to stick with all apple the white keyboard just doesnt go with the MBP and apple display :(

That's okay, your keyboard can't look much cooler than this, but it's okay yours is a pc :p
