There are so many different GeForce 4 MX's. nVidea GeForce 4 MX, Apollo GeForce 4 MX, Forsa GeForce 4 MX, Hercules GeForce 4 MX, and a few more I saw in stores. What is the difference between these GeForce 4s? Are they all made by the same company? Thanks.

Just so you know, nVidia makes the plans for the cards and the other companies actually manufacture them. nVidia doesn't make any boards except for demonstration ones that aren't sold to the public. They are the people, however, to blame for the vacuum cleaner attached to the GeForce FX 5800, that was their idea, the manufacturers just built it.

As has been said they should all be made to NVIDIA's reference designs, though some companies do alter them slightly.

Many brands are made at the same factory and just labelled for each company. If you're looking to buy, the cheaper are probably identical to the more expensive.

true for the graphical power but for the video signal there are big differences. Id take a more exensive one, just to be sure the video signal is good.
