Hi I am in the process of buying ram to bump it up to one gig.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the "U" stands for in Pc2700U?

Help would be much appreciated!!😀

Generally, U stands for Unbuffered, which is what all Mac RAM wants to be except for MacPro FB-DIMMs.

Welcome to MR: It would help, if you could specifiy the model and speed of your machine when you post questions.

Thanks
Trevor
