Answers from different people could include:
-To do homework and check e-mail
-To import photos while traveling
-Editing video
-Blogging/Working on website while being mobile. ex. in a cafe.

People have different uses for their laptops. Especially if they own more than one computer.

Your computer can teach you to cook. Just get the right app. You could technically use your laptop to help you with cooking. Recipes, timer, photos, etc.
