eMac screen resizing

Hi all.

Can someone tell me why the eMac screen keep on resizing itself? Also there's the problem with some kind of monitor disortion but I think that's just the speakers affecting it. Any help?

I would imagine any speakers u are using would be shielded, as the display should be...but I'm not certain there.

as for the screen resizing...do u mean u turn it off & it's a different resolution when turned back on? explain more...
