Apple Remote Desktop doesn't start up with iMac

I turn the ARD service on, click the lock to prevent changes, but when the iMac is rebooted, it becomes inactive... what the deal iz?

What happens when you don't lock the changes? I use the same settings and have never hit the lock button. Never had a problem.

Alright it seems to be working ok now... but for how long...

I guess we'll wait and see.
