Airport Extreme and FTP

I just purchaced an airport extreme. Everything works great except I can't upload to my website with FTP. I have tried using fetch and the built in ftp utility from rapidweaver and still have no luck. I have even tried disabling the firewall on my comp.:confused:

BTW I am using a G4 Powerbook and also a G5 Desktop if that makes any difference.

Are you trying to FTP out of your network, or into your network? In other words, where does the FTP server you are trying to upload to reside?

I am trying to upload off my network. it still doesn't work. I can take my comp to my buddys place and upload no prob. I don't get it
