Myth 1.4

Well, it was released yesterday. It is one of the best "patches" I've seen in any game.

The 1.4 patch brings OpenGL acceleration and OSX support (which was already available in 1.3.2) to Myth II.

For all the Myth fans out there, this is a dream come true. It still runs great on my old iMac. :D

I agree, the 1.4 patch is certainly the best one to date. I finally can enjoy Myth 2 with OpenGL support and lag free LAN games. Speed improvements as well as others are noticeable and welcomed! This patch is a must-get for Myth 2 owners.

I've been trying to find a decent way to play online.

I don't like playmyth.net and it seems Gameranger no longer supports the new v1.4

What a shame. LAN games are still fantastic though. :D

I reinstalled Myth II and all the third party maps I've collected over the years and all the ones off the Total Codex set I picked up at Best Buy a while back. Great Stuff. :D
