Does it matter which company I purchase my RAM from?
Ramseeker.com
Mushkin.com
18004memory
Crucial
etc....
Is it going to matter if purchase Ram from 18004memory or Crucial? Should people go get the best price possible, or am I going to get a performance boost by purchasing better RAM?
Sorry, but I always wanted to know.

all you have to pay attention to is to buy a brand of ram, not anything. from who you are buying it is not important.
also take a look at the timings, but on the mac they are not that important.

So getting RAM from Kingston (sp?) and Crucial is good, but getting cheap RAM from a crap company will result in............slower performance? System crashes? The plague? I'd like to save a few $$$, but not if it causes me stress.
Thanks though. I'll just purchase Kingston RAM then. They sell that one at my school.

Other World Computing has been a reliable source for me the past few years (for RAM and other stuff). Decent site, pretty friendly customer service staff, too.
