WWDC is ahead, but it appears that MacWorld.com has broken the ice. Attached is the image from their main site... Ghz are gone for good.

Its a minor error - I don't thinkn anyone was going to lose a job over it - even if it said THz (terahertz).
But all the silliness aside - you have to wonder why they're pushing it - I'm sure they've heard the rumors......maybe they're trying to help Apple get rid of some extra G4s before the 970s become available....

Uhhhhh, kids? Look closely at the picture. That's not a new PowerMac. It looks exactly like the PowerMacs we have now. Why? Because, that's the current, top-of-the-line Dual 1.42 GHz G4 you can buy from Apple or any of their resellers.
Here's for dreaming, though.
