Can I use an old Logitech webcam with USB port in iMovie HD to use it for timelapse? I plug it in but it doesn't appear in the camera list (where iSight is etc) Anyone know how I can get it to recognize the webcam?

What you posted before in the above thread is correct. You can not use a USB camera with iMovie. It will only work with the iSight camera and firewire cameras. I would suggest just pointing your macbook out of a window for the day..
