I've never dealt with Apple before so this question might sound a bit dumb.
If I take my computer and explain the weird flickering and dimming of my LCD screen and the green look on the palm rest place will they look into these issues seriously?
How long will the fix take approximately? I can't part with the computer for more than 3 days.

Do you mean when you have it set not to dim while watching say... a dvd? Even if you set it not to dim it still does right? mine does that to and there's no permeant solution yet from apple. Thats a problem with all the intel macbooks from what i hear, but they are aware of it and one would hope are working on a means to fix it. There is a work around for it but once you turn it off it resets... one sec.

doubt they will fix the green look on the palm rest as they will say it is pure "wear and tear". The flickering on the other hand they should fix. But explain what happens when it flickers/dims. Your sure its not power saving? All laptops do this normally.

3 days is a pretty tight schedule.
I got my whole LCD and top display replaced in 3 days, but I had a 5 day window to work with.
