Hey everyone.
I'm not using my iPod much anymore, so I've decided to post it here. I think I bought it from someone on these forums...
Anyway, It's a 20 GB 2nd generation iPod. The original box, docs, CD, and charger are included. Note that the firewire cable is not included, as I only own one of them. You'll have to provide your own, but that's not hard: they only cost about $5.
Attached is a picture of the unit. It's very blurry, thanks to my dying digital camera.
I'll just do a pro/con list for the rest of it.
Pros:
-The battery is probably strong. I'd give it about 6 hrs.
-The HD makes no noise that might indicate imminent failure.
-iPod Linux is installed. I have a few videos and pictures that I'll keep on the iPod. Some of the vids even work with sound.
-I have a few hours of music that I'll leave on there.
Cons:
-There is an unsightly dark spot on the screen. You can see it in the picture: I have circled it. It looks like the kind of thing that would happen if you press down on the screen too hard. You can still see what is going on behind it.
-There are many small scuffs on the body: this iPod has seen a lot of action.
-The hard plastic thing that covers the firewire port is missing.
Also, I have a set of Apple white earbuds that originally came from a nano. I could include them.
Please make me an offer. I would also be willing to trade this iPod for any interesting Mac-related item: maybe a G3 laptop.
