sorry...more popping and clicking questions

Yeah, so I'm getting that *pop* in between songs that I've heard about before and I've got a couple of questions. 1.Is this common?
2.Does it ever go away?
3.Should I be trying to return my iPod?
4.Is there a way that apple could fix this problem through a software update?

If anybody can answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

this really belongs in the other thread. we've already talked about all of this.

it is common. it may go away sometimes. apple probably won't let you return it over this. we don't know if a firmware update can fix it.
