Delete these Start Up Items?

Hey everyone-

I'm not sure if this works on Mac's like Windows but to get my computer running a little faster, i was wondering if i can stop running... "itunes helper, Microsoft Database Daemo..., iCalAlarm Schedular, SpeechSynthesisServer, LCCDaemon"

I have no idea what any of these do, and the only one i myself actually put there is "MenyCalenderClock"

You should probably keep the iTunesHelper and the iCalAlarmScheduler since they came with the OS.
