View Full Version : CD/DVD Eject button change with 10.4.9?

Ever since I upgraded to 10.4.9 I've noticed that the eject button has to be held down for a second before it actually ejects the disc, where before it was instantaneous.


Has anyone else noticed this change?

Yes, I was glad this change has been made. I can't say how many times I've "accidently" hit the eject button and pop ... out comes the cd or dvd :o

Oh no I couldn't agree more. It just took me off guard at first - I thought my keyboard was going out on me or something.

Really glad about this and the loudness improvement with the iMacs.

Someone find a preference file we can edit to make this act like 10.4.8 again!
