Needing Mac OS X

The genius Bar told me today that it doesn't matter where the os x dmg comes from for your machine, as long as I have a license, I do have a license but don't have my tiger disks with me! Anyone know an ftp server that has OS X available.

Oh sure, Apple just has these things freely available to download all the time. They totally trust everyone out there has a license and will only download it if they DO have a license. 😎

well, call applecare again, My expectation is "no way u can download it from ftp server"

Tiger dmg from ftp server

"we don't care where you get the dmg from", quote from a genius at the genius bar friday march 16th.

Applecare was never called, read the post you quoted, it said the Genius Bar.

I'm sorry, despite your assurances that in your case this would be legitimate, this is one of the topics (locating download sites for copyrighted software) which is not allowed under the rules of this forum.
