Hi guys I want to get 2 X 1GB sticks for my 24" imac.

I was looking on newegg and found some stuff I liked..

First is Corsair memory

Second is Corsair "mac" memory.

Do you think there is an actual difference?

Stay away from Value Select RAM unless you really really like Kernel Panics

Bah, Thats a pretty vague statement with nothing to back it up.

Thousands of people use value select with their macs with no problems.

If you look at the specs for both they are the same model.

Guess I'd buy the cheaper one in that case.

Personally, I use Crucial memory. I know it's overpriced, but I inexplicably feel safe using it.

Yup that is what I figured.

I ordered the regular Value select.
